Our company held the “2018 Fair Trade Compliance Program (CP) Enhancement Declaration Ceremony” in Songeui Hall at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital in Seoul on May 2.

A total of 350 employees in sales, research, development, and support divisions, Dong Wha Pharm President and CCO Yoo Gwangryeol, and Executive and Compliance Manager Kim Changhyun attended the ceremony.
President Yoo said, “As a result of continuously strengthening and implementing the Fair Trade CP, our company has obtained the industry’s highest AA rating in the Fair Trade Commission’s CP rating last year. We will not stop, but will continue to supplement and improve the CP operation system and reflect on our management activities so that we can actively fulfill ethical management.”
Dong Wha Pharm’s Fair Trade CP Enhancement Declaration Ceremony, which is on its 4th year this year, began with President Yoo’s message to strengthen compliance management, and included the employees’ oath to abide by the CP rules and the CP training with external instructors.
Since 2014, our company completely changed the operation of the CP program by reorganizing the CP team under our CEO, announcing and distributing the “Dong Wha Compliance Handbook,” and enacting and amending various CP guidelines and regulations. Moreover, our company has been implementing CP to disseminate the CP culture, including the production of the company-wide CP slogan, regular implementation of more enhanced online/offline CP training, posting of CP content on our website, operation of an advance business negotiation, and operation of a cyber report center. Also, with a more enhanced monitoring system, active sanctions are applied in the case of an employee’s CP violation.
Our company official said, “We will not settle for the result of the existing ethical management implementation. In 2018, we will actively promote the introduction and certification of ISO 37001, which is the international standard of the anti-corruption management system.”
